Our second day of the Helvetas Regional Advocacy Network (RAN) Annual Event 2025 in Chișinău was all about turning theory into practice.
We explored:
🔸 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐔/𝐔𝐍 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 – with the case of the Platform for Gender Equality (PGE) in Moldova.
🔸 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐔 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 – with insights from the EBA Moldova (European Business Association) on the EU Growth Plan.
Through parallel sessions, group work, and an interactive role play, participants examined how international frameworks and processes can be leveraged for impactful national-level advocacy – identifying what works, what doesn’t, and how to adapt strategies to different contexts.
This collaborative approach is equipping civil society, private sector, and policymakers with practical tools to influence policy, monitor reforms, and drive positive change across Eastern Europe.
