Regional Advocacy Network Planning Workshop 2025 held in Sarajevo

Sarajevo, 29 October 2024 – HELVETAS, in partnership with the Regional Advocacy Network (RAN) and PRAGG teams, convened a strategic workshop in Sarajevo with a focus on evaluating RAN’s progress, setting a transformative roadmap for 2025, and enhancing interactions between civil society organizations (CSOs) and the private sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH).

The event gathered key stakeholders, experts, and advocacy professionals from across the region to reflect on RAN’s impact and identify strategies for strengthening its influence.

With an agenda dedicated to interactive sessions, workshops, and networking opportunities, participants aimed to address the evolving needs of the network and boost its advocacy potential. Highlights include:

Bakground Info on the Network: In 2018, Helvetas established the Regional Advocacy Network (RAN), a platform that brings together project representatives, experts, and stakeholders from various sectors. Over the years, RAN has played a pivotal role in addressing practical issues and advocating for change. Its success was recognized in 2022 when it won the Helvetas Innovation Award for its #DevPolHack initiative.
